June 7: Say hello to the new forecast, same as the old forecast

The National Weather Service told you it might rain yesterday. Did you listen? I didn’t, and it poured anyway.

The deal for Denver is pretty much the same today, June 7: A high in the mid 80s with a 30 percent chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and early evening, according to NWS.

The storms will roll eastward from the mountains to the plains, as per usual, and in their worst spots they could bring winds up to 40 mph and hail up to an inch in diameter. That’s just more than half a golf ball.

Here’s what it looked like yesterday:

The chance of storms will be present but lower for the rest of the week. As for me, I’m an idiot daredevil so I wore suede shoes today.
