Heat Dome Log, Day 4: Freedom.
Greetings, free people of Denver. It sure feels good to be released from the heat dome. Today's high will only reach the upper 80s, according to the National Weather Service.
But with our freedom comes some peril. We've got a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 3 p.m. The NWS says some of the storms could produce gusty winds, so don't stand to close to any scoreboards.
