Amazon announced Thursday that it's looking to add hundreds of seasonal workers to its new warehouse in Aurora.
The Seattle-based company plans to hire more than 650 people to help with the uptick in packages sent around the holidays, spokeswoman Ashley Robinson told Denverite.
Nationwide, Amazon needs more than 120,000 workers to help out during the holidays. People in Colorado can apply here.
Amazon opened its sortation center in Aurora earlier this year. Workers at the 452,000-square-foot warehouse sort packaged orders by zip code ahead of delivery by the U.S. Postal Service.
Many retailers across the country are already gearing up for the holiday season.
Target announced plans to hire hundreds of seasonal workers in Colorado and plans to hold hiring events at all of its stores Friday and Saturday. The events are scheduled from noon to 6 p.m. each day.
