Denver police are investigating a death early Thanksgiving morning

A death investigation is underway after Denver police responded to the 4300 block of Fillmore St. and found one person dead.

A death investigation is underway after Denver police responded to the 4300 block of Fillmore St. and found one person dead.

Department spokesman John White told the Denver Post that detectives have confirmed that the person was the victim of a homicide.

A gunshot was reported in the area at 5:10 a.m.
