A winter weather advisory is in effect due to freezing drizzle and icy conditions across Denver, which may also include light snow.

I can tell you personally that it became quite icy last night. As the National Weather Service warns, “variable road conditions will make this situation particularly dangerous and it will be easy for drivers to be surprised by areas of ice.”

Conditions should improve later in the morning, with the advisory expiring at 9 a.m. The high today is 40 degrees, with a slight chance of snow later tonight, according to NWS.

Tomorrow, the high is expected to be 41 degrees, and then it’s the low 60s all weekend.
