Strange Craft Beer Co. is brewing The Brown Palace Golden Age using water from the downtown hotel’s “artisan well and a touch of honey from the hotel’s rooftop beehives.” The imperial honey brown ale will be on sale at the Ship Tavern restaurant inside the Brown Palace or through an anniversary package for hotel guests, according to a news release from the Denver craft brewer.
Reservations for the anniversary package, which includes a bottle of The Brown Palace Golden Age and an anniversary gift, go on sale Aug. 1.
Molson Coors Brewing Co. is making The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce a special beer —150 Strong — to celebrate the organization’s 150th anniversary. The beer is expected to be on tap at the Chamber’s 150th-anniversary party in November.
