Denver, you're always looking for something to do in this great city of ours. Whether it's music, food, art, culture or ways to support local small vendors, we're always keeping an eye out for the best things you can do.

Here are four events worth checking out around the city today and the rest of this week. If you're into cannabis, live music, cerveza or air guitar-ing, read on.

Vendor Market and 4/20 Sponsored Yoga at Urban Sanctuary

Date: Thursday, April 20, 8:30-9:30 p.m.

Location: 2745 Welton St.

Five Points yoga space Urban Sanctuary, in collaboration with Ganja Bratz Entertainment, is hosting an evening of highlighting women and BIPOC owned ventures within the cannabis and wellness space.

Ganja Bratz Entertainment will host We Empower 420 vendor market. Attendees will have a chance to learn more about different cannabis brands, connect with fellow individuals who consume, and support women and BIPOC individuals in the cannabis industry.

Two aerialists, Ally Beacom and Jackie Drummond will also be performing different sequences during the event with live music.

Following the vendor market, Urban Sanctuary will be hosting a special edition, 4/20 friendly class featuring a group smoke session, a stand-up comedy set by Denver local, Hakeem Furious, and a yoga class taught by Steph Lindsey.

Tickets to the Vendor Market and 4/20 sponsored yoga class are separate.

MXMENTS at XDenver

Date: Thursday, April 20, 7:30-9 p.m.

Location: 3100 Inca St.

XDenver is hosting its third showcase of MXMENTS, an intimate live music series that features three musical artists on their 12th floor rooftop lounge. Each artist is given 15-20 minutes to perform their favorite songs.

This performance will feature Gabe James, an alternative pop-singer born and raised in Colorado; Blankslate, a University of Denver college trio whose lead single debuted on Indie 102.3 and was named to the stations Best of Local 303 list; and Kid Astronaut, a futuristic R&B, soul, pop artist born and raised in Denver.

This show is for ages 21 and up.

¡Caliente! at Cerveceria Colorado

Date: Friday, April 21, 7:30-10:30 p.m.

Location: 1635 Platte St.

Every 3rd Friday of the month, Cervecería Colorado hosts ¡Caliente!, a live DJ and dance night featuring Craft Cervezas, dancing and food truck options.

The free admission event will be hosted by DJ Miggy, a California raised DJ that will play salsa, cumbia, Latin Soul, funk and more throughout the evening. Special guest Jenny Sanchez will also be performing, a vinyl DJ in Denver that is part of Movete Chiquita Vinyl Club.

US Air Guitar Championships at Squire Lounge

Date: Friday, April 21, 7 p.m.

Location: 1800 E Colfax Ave.

Denver is hosting the official air guitar association 2023 regional championships this week at the Squire Lounge.

The event is 21 and up. Tickets are $10 at the door, $15 if you want to compete.
