Mayor-elect Mike Johnston has been saying for weeks that he wants the public to get involved with his transition into office. Now, Vibrant Denver, his transition committee, has a schedule for how you can do that.
From Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 14, Johnston's 28 transition committees will hold public forums to share their work with the community and listen to the people's priorities.
"Each forum will have a run time of two hours and will include a brief overview of the committee's work and robust opportunities for residents to participate in small group discussions and share their ideas, concerns, and hopes for the future," according to a statement from Vibrant Denver.
The transition committee says it will make translation and interpretation services, real-time captioning and child care available. Those requests can be made by emailing [email protected].
And while each of the forums will take place in person, those who'd prefer an online option can sign in through Google Meets. The link will be posted on Vibrant Denver's website.
