Get on your bikes and ride, greater Denver area
If your coworkers look more disheveled than usual this morning, it might be because they biked to work. Today’s the official day to do that – Bike to Work Day, to be specific – and Denver’s cyclists are likely to turn out in force.
Read on for details on concessions and reports from the field.

What’s on offer:
Those on two wheels will find water and breakfast stations, and “bike parties,” throughout the metro area this morning. The special deals on offer include free food at local Chipotle stores (just bring your helmet) and free pancakes until 9 a.m. at Skyline Park.
This evening also will have a handful of bicycling events. The nearest is in Arvada, at Odyssey Beerwerks.
Updates from the field:
Things got off to a brisk start at the Whole Foods in Capitol Hill, which had seen about 40 cyclists by 7:15 a.m.
Things were looking busy along the Cherry Creek Trail, near Logan Street.
