We hope this wasn't your Subaru.
Jefferson County sheriff's deputies got a call today about a young bear stuck in a car. He'd somehow managed to get into the car and then locked himself inside. And because he'd trashed the car and ripped off the door panels, deputies couldn't use the key fob to open the hatch.
This was going to have to be an old-fashioned, open-the-door-with-your-hands-even-though-there-is-a-bear-inside operation. Another deputy stood by with a shotgun, but fortunately, once free, the bear wanted nothing to do with cars or people.
