Denver Broncos linebacker/burgeoning entertainer Demarcus Ware’s new TV show, the aptly titled “Talk NOW with DeMarcus Ware,” debuted on the NFL Network on Monday.

For the first episode, Ware decided to have teammate Von Miller on for a 10-minute interview. Together, they covered Peyton Manning’s retirement, Miller’s trash-talking habits and the Broncos’ upcoming game against the Panthers.

Also, they talked about Miller’s chickens.

Miller brought one of the chicks to the set. Its name? DeMarcus.

“I understand the chicken is dark, handsome (and) athletic,” Ware joked. “That’s why you named the chicken after me.”

Miller revealed that he owns roughly 60 chickens back home in the Dallas/Fort Worth-area. The Broncos’ star pass rusher emphasized that he doesn’t eat them.

“They’re more like pets,” he said. “They have personalities. I care for them. … It’s a special bond between me and my birds.”
