Denver International Airport today announced the installment of three in-concourse pet relief areas, one in each concourse.
Up until now, the airport has only had a pet potty outside the main terminal, so it had to be used before you go through security -- or worse, you'd have to go all the way out and back through. But no more.
Inside the rooms near the center of each concourse, according to a press release, there is artificial turf, an aritificial, a drainage system, a wall-mounted sink, recessed soap dispenser, an automatic hand dryer, a paper towel dispenser, bags and trash bins. Owners need to clean up after their pets themselves. Plus: "each room features a wall mural showcasing dogs enjoying Colorado’s great outdoors."

The original pet potty is a small, fenced-in area on the west side of the Jeppesen Terminal, on the second level next to the parking garage, outside door 200. DIA also has a pet hotel.
