Goodbye, Buck Drinkery. Hello, Uno Mas Taqueria. (Rachel Cernansky/Special to Denverite)

The Speer and Alamo Placita neighborhoods will soon be able to get their locally sourced street taco fix nearby.

As we learned in late September, Uno Mas Taqueria y Cantina is moving in at 730 E. Sixth Ave., replacing the $5 Buck Drinkery (which I am still stubbornly calling "the five dollar buck drinkery").

The opening could come as soon as next Friday, Nov. 4. An employee at Uno Mas told us that the general manager who could give us an official opening date is on vacation this week, but a Facebook post from Uno Mas on Oct. 7 said they were expecting to open about four weeks from then.

As of Oct. 18, things were coming along nicely for the new restaurant:

We'll let you know when we learn a firm date.
