We've had the Women's March, the airport rallies in support of immigrants, rallies in support of Planned Parenthood and rallies to declare President Donald Trump "Not My President."
Now supporters of the president plan to hold their own rally on the west steps of the Colorado State Capitol.
The goal is to "show our support for the President and America-first policies in a positive, patriotic, and upbeat fashion," according to the event's Facebook page.
"Wear your patriotic gear, bring your positive signs and flags and let's stand shoulder to shoulder to bring back our Republic."
The Spirit of America rally is set for noon on Monday, Feb. 27. So far, fewer than 100 people have said they plan to attend on Facebook, but Denver is a pretty blue city. And it's early yet.
The scheduled speakers include Devin Camacho, chairman of Otero County Republicans and the youngest serving Republican leader of the state, Amy Oliver Cooke of the Independence Institute who worked on Trump's transition team for the EPA, state Sen. Tim Neville, Hugo Chavez-Rey, chairman of Colorado Hispanic Republicans and Kim Monson and Molly Vogt, co-hosts of the radio show AmeriChicks.
The keynote speech will come from Caspar Stockam, who ran unsuccessfully against long-serving Democratic U.S. Rep. Diana DeGette. He is the founder of the Seeds of Dignity Coalition.
The event is part of a series of rallies around the nation.
“These rallies are inclusive, non-partisan and open to anyone supporting President Trump in his efforts to bring back manufacturing jobs to America, put the security of our nation ahead of political correctness, improve our infrastructure, revitalize the inner cities and secure our nation’s borders,” Debbie Dooley, one of the main national organizers, said in a statement.
