The Denver Nuggets could again be without both members of their starting frontcourt when they play the Washington Wizards on Wednesday.

The team announced Tuesday that center Nikola Jokic is questionable with an illness, while power forward Kenneth Faried remains out with a lower back injury.

Jokic missed Denver’s game Monday against Sacramento with an illness. The team said he received an IV earlier that day but was unable to go.

Faried has missed the last five games with back spasms.

The Nuggets (29-34) play the Wizards (37-24) at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Pepsi Center. Denver has a two-game lead in the race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
