The vote:

Question 2H received 66.6 percent of the vote as of 2 a.m. That’s with 96,000 ballots counted.

The reason:

The proposed change was meant to show that the department is responsible for public health and aligns with the name of the equivalent department in state government, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. The change also would add more board members to oversee the department.
