Remember way back in early 2016, when Denver was a no-Torchy's Tacos town? It truly feels like 100 years ago. And we're about to become a four-Torchy's town.

The Texas taco chain is preparing to open up shop at 6325 E. Hampden Ave. -- right off the Interstate 25 and Hampden junction. It replaces Jim 'N Nick's BBQ in a complex that includes Starbucks, Smashburger and Panera Bread.

The new Denver Torchy's will be open for regular business on Nov. 13, but you can get in early during the grand opening party on Nov. 11.

Boulder will have to wait just a little longer. That one will open up at 2805 Pearl St. sometime this winter.

The Boulder location will be the eighth Torchy's in Colorado. They're also in Fort Collins, Highlands Ranch and Greenwood Village.

If that seems like a lot, just know that there are 15 in the city of Austin alone and... so, so many throughout Texas. Of the other three states with Torchy's Tacos, though, Colorado is out ahead of Oklahoma (4) and Arkansas (2).
