Baseball fans are about to get more dining options in LoDo. A food hall with 9 restaurants, a bar and 28,000 square feet of outdoor plaza space will open at McGregor Square July 1.

Milepost Zero will offer Tiny Giant Sushi and Little Chingones, two concepts from Denver restaurateur Troy Guard, as well as Atomic Chicken, Field Greens, Giordano's (which will serve up pizza), Buona (burgers and hot dogs), Tora Noodle House, Wazee Coffee and Pulpo Creamery.

Once a parking lot for the nearby Coors Field, McGregor Square opened in April. The development at 1901 Wazee St. includes restaurants, a hotel, offices and a Tattered Cover, and will house the Rockies Hall of Fame, set to open next year.

Milepost's name, by the way, is a nod to Denver's beginnings, when railroads ruled commerce. According to a press release from McGregor Square, the city's tracks began at what is now known as Coors Field, then known as "mile post zero."
