The festival will be held at The Junkyard (1098 Yuma St), an outdoor venue in the heart of Denver, that will be converted into a multi-stage dreamland on August 25, 26 and 27.

"Denver - let's do this," said Marsi Gray, Senior Director of Events at Meow Wolf, "Come out to The JunkYard and play with us this year. Denver has such a vibrant community and we are excited to dance with you!"

American DJ GRiZ will headline the first night of the festival.

The internationally known DJ and producer played the first ever show at Meow Wolf's Denver venue, The Perplexiplex. The Detroit-born, Denver based artist has a self described future funk sound and has quickly become one of the leading independent artists in electronic music today.

Vortex will also feature experiential art installations as well as chill zones for all ages.

"It's really an accessible festival where people of all ages can find places to hang out," said Erin Barnes, Meow Wolf spokesperson.

The multi-genre, electronic leaning festival will feature an eclectic lineup of musicians that best represent the weirdos, outcasts and colorful people that make up the wonderful Meow Wolf community. An official Vortex 2023 playlist is available on Spotify for those unfamiliar with some of the artists on this year's lineup.

"Since last year's Vortex wrapped up, we've been locked in with Meow Wolf to make year two in Denver nothing short of spectacular," said Eric Pirritt, President of Live Nation Rockies. "Here we are, ready to launch. It's an exciting day for the city."
