Denver Days: Neighborhood block parties across 30 Denver neighborhoods

Although our summer is beginning to wind down and students go back to school in a couple of weeks, there's still time to celebrate warm summer days in the company of those who share similar street names, zip codes and work commutes.

Denver Days will be hosted this weekend, August 4-6, in an effort to promote neighborhood interaction and community involvement throughout the city.

Created by former Mayor Michael Hancock in 2012, the city waives fees for picnic permits and block parties. They also provide a limited supply of free barricades.

Neighborhood associations, Denver Public Library branches and local Denverites have registered their celebrations for the weekend. We've compiled a list, broken down by neighborhood, featuring block parties all over the city you might be interested in checking out:
