The Denver Post reports that an Adams County fisherman snagged “what appears to be a pipe bomb” from Barr Lake Sunday morning. A bomb squad disabled the suspected explosive device, the Post reports.

The device may have been part of someone’s attempt to stun fish, a Colorado Parks & Wildlife representative told KDVR. That sounds like it would really take the fun out of fishing, and also possibly get you a felony.
