The city hosts a community meeting tonight about the 39th Avenue Open Channel, a plan that would run a big, grassy flood drain and a trail along the avenue through the Cole neighborhood.

The meeting will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at St. Charles Recreation Center. The address is 3777 Lafayette Street.

You're welcome to come by at any time. City staff will be on hand to collect feedback on the plan.
