An afternoon storm on June 13. (Kevin J. Beaty/Denverite)

What did we tell you yesterday? It’s over. Stop summering.

Today, we feel the chill of fall. The high will only reach 75, according to the National Weather Service, and there’s a chance of showers and thunderstorms all day and into the night, when the low will get down to 47.

Saturday’s weather should be about the same, though the rain and storms will wait until after noon. RIP summer.

Kidding! Sunday’s high will be back up in the low 80s and it’s going to be good and sunny. Viva summer.
