Five months and one remodel after Gypsy House closed forever, we now have an idea of what will replace it.

Ye Enterprises Inc. (not that Ye, sadly) applied for a liquor license for Little Gingko Asian Café at 1279 N. Marion St.

Since the beloved Gypsy House closed back in March after a dozen years on the corner of 13th Avenue and Marion Street, the storefront — at the least — has been remodeled and the murals outside have been painted over gray.

Little Gingko’s liquor license hearing is scheduled for Oct. 14. Capitol Hill United Neighbors held a meeting yesterday to learn more about the business.
