Multiply that by several tens of thousands of people and add a sweet soundtrack, plus some Swedish accents. Now you have DreamHack, a legendary European gaming festival that is finally expanding in the U.S.
I'm telling you, this is going to be a crazy thing to behold: Thousands of monitors aglow in the National Western Complex, costumes everywhere, and some of the best e-athletes you'll meet anywhere.
There's even a "sleeping hall," because this thing goes for three days straight. Tickets start at $36 per day and range up to $400 for the VIP package.
The Denver event runs Oct. 20 to 22. It will be DreamHack's fourth party in the U.S. The first was in Austin last year.
