Man who claimed to be a Broncos owner charged with trespassing

A man who claimed to be a Denver Broncos owner was arrested for trespassing at the UCHealth Training Center in Englewood, according to the Denver Post.

Cordell Eric Robinson allegedly entered the media room at the Broncos' Dove Valley practice facility and was snapping pictures of a trophy case around 7 a.m. Then security stepped in and asked him to leave.

Robinson refused and said that he had a 20 percent ownership stake in the team, Arapahoe County Sheriff Office spokeswoman Julie Brooks told the Post.

Security reportedly asked the 36-year-old Robinson to leave for a second time, to which Robinson replied, "I'll get you and Elway."

Robinson was charged with second-degree trespassing, which is a class 3 misdemeanor.

Falsely claiming you own a significant stake in the most popular sports team in the town and threatening one of the state's most-respected figures; those don't seem like great ideas.
