Gary Johnson is making his first visit to Colorado Monday

The Libertarian candidate for president will be in Parker at the University of Colorado Denver’s South Campus at 6 p.m. Monday.

This is his first visit to Colorado as part of this campaign. Several polls have shown his support in the low double-digits and doing even better with voters under 30.

This visit comes as Johnson is having a moment in good and bad ways.

He’s made a series of comments that call into question his awareness of the world outside the United States. He couldn’t name a single foreign leader he admires and then he called this brain freeze “another Aleppo moment,” referring to when he was asked about the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Syria and responded “What is Aleppo?

He’s also secured the endorsements of several traditionally Republican newspapers like the Chicago Tribune and the Detroit News who couldn’t bring themselves to endorse Trump or Clinton.
