NFL great John Lynch will see his name become apart of the Broncos' Ring of Fame along with Simon Fletcher and Jason Elam at Sports Authority Field during halftime of  Denver's Monday night game against the Houston Texans.

Lynch, regarded as one of the greatest safeties ever, spent four seasons of his 15-year career in Denver. He picked off three passes, forced nine fumbles, recorded 195 tackles and generally put the fear of God into opposing players as a member of the Broncos.

"A car wreck," Lynch says in the video. "That's what it is. It sounds brutal. It's a brutal game."

Lynch is now a color commentator who calls NFL games for FOX.

Fletcher, a linebacker, and Elam, Denver's long-time kicker, will also be recognized. Fletcher is one of the greatest pass rushers in franchise history, as he racked up 97.5 sacks in 11 seasons. Elam, the team's kicker from 1993-2006, nailed 395 of the 490 field goals he attempted as a Bronco, or 80.6 percent.
