Pedestrian on Peña killed in crash near DIA

A man is dead after being struck by an automobile on Peña Boulevard on Sunday night, according to the Denver Police Department.

It happened on the 4800 block of Peña Boulevard, which is just south of Denver International Airport’s main terminal. The pedestrian was on foot in the travel lanes of the busy road, police said, but it is unclear why.

No further information has been released.
