A number of NBA coaches have offered their thoughts on President-elect Donald Trump's victory Tuesday, including Warriors coach Steve Kerr, who said Trump has "routinely used racist, misogynist, insulting words," and Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy, who called Trump "brazenly racist."
On Thursday, Nuggets coach Mike Malone was asked about our soon-to-be president. Here's what he said:
“All I’ll say is this. I have two daughters who I love and respect. And the fact that there is a guy in the White House who does not share those same values is disappointing. But right now my focus, whether this is right or wrong, is on my team and trying to get a win tonight. But like I said, just out of respect for all females is something I think you’d want from the president and leader of your country. We’ll see what happens.”
Leading up to the election, an audio recording from 2005 surfaced, in which Trump said, "You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy. You can do anything."
Trump also said Fox News personality Megyn Kelly "had blood coming out of her wherever," after the first GOP debate, which Kelly moderated.
