Students walked out of one or more schools in Denver in protest on Friday afternoon.
"We know that Donald Trump is president, but we wont be afraid," said Andrea Ramirez, a ninth-grader at STRIVE Prep. "We want equality for all because that is what we all deserve."

Some of those protesting were gathering on Federal Boulevard. Denver Public Schools is encouraging students to stay on campus and have conversations.
