Mid-mods get preservation rules, Victorian house does not.

New rules approved by the Denver City Council will make it harder to modify Krisana Park's mid-century homes, although they won't prevent demolitions.

Galvanize will close its Fort Collins campus.

The co-working company will close its 15,000-square-foot northern Colorado space by the end of the year, leaving 57 companies and 120 members looking for a new office. Galvanize has operated there for about a year. (BizWest)

The R Line won't be here until January.

A little more detail on the delays we mentioned yesterday - for the Aurora line, at least, it's due to "technical issues" and a lack of time for testing. Reportedly: "Kiewit, the contractor building the light rail did not hand the project over to RTD in time." (Aurora Sentinel)

Why you should really practice gun safety:

An Aurora man was arrested Saturday on suspicion that he had pointed a loaded revolver at kids who threw snowballs at his van while he napped in Boulder. He reportedly said that he was "scared," and so he pointed an instrument of death at the kids. (Boulder Daily Camera)

Correction: I said Elon Musk owned The Kitchen. It is Kimbal Musk.
