In a somewhat abrupt change of pace, it’s going to be sort of yucky today.

Snow day, Nov. 17, 2016. (Kevin J. Beaty/Denverite)

In a somewhat abrupt change of pace, it’s going to be sort of yucky today.

That’s the scientific term for it, I believe.

The National Weather Service says there’s a slight chance of rain and snow before 11 a.m., then a slight chance of just rain as it warms up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. The high will be around 51 degrees and the wind could gust up to 26 mph.

Things should calm down rain- and wind-wise into the night, when the temperature will drop to mid 20s.
