A man who was reported missing late on Thursday was found on an expert run at Breckenridge Ski Resort on Friday morning, Jan. 13. Sean  Haberthier, 47, was unresponsive and was pronounced dead that morning, Summit Daily reports.

He apparently “died of a severe skull fracture after skiing into a tree on the expert Lower Boneyard run,” the newspaper reports. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, the county coroner reportedly told the newspaper. Summit Daily has more on Haberthier’s life and family.
