The first suspect, 19-year-old Ever Valles, was arrested on Feb. 9, the Denver Post reported. He told police Valdez was the one who shot and killed Cruz.

Valles also told a detective that Valdez shot him afterward, saying, “You saw too much.”

The Post also reported that someone told investigators he was recently with the suspects and that they were wearing the same masks and backpacks. He also showed them Valles’ Facebook page.
