The most famous work by architect Charles Deaton — who also designed the futuristic bank on Broadway in Englewood — was the house he designed for himself in Jefferson County (seen below). The building, known as the Sculptured House, was featured in Woody Allen’s 1973 futurist comedy “Sleeper.”
