There’s a lot of noise in the days and hours leading up to the NFL Draft. Like sonic boom levels of noise, the majority of which is bad rumors and mock drafts that get 10 percent of the picks right.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Thursday afternoon that the Broncos are considering moving up in the first round. Denver is currently set to pick 20th overall.

It’s unclear what the Broncos’ motivations are. Do they want to make sure they get the offensive lineman they really want? Do they think they have a shot at Stanford running back/receiver/returner Christian McCaffrey?

Schefter is as well sourced as they come, and he spent years covering the Broncos before he went national. We’ll see what Denver does tonight. The first round begins at 6 p.m.
