I-25 is fully reopened near Denver Tech Center
Repairs to all lanes of Interstate 25 are done following yesterday’s fuel truck fire.
All light rail lines near the highway (E, R, F) are also back in action as of yesterday afternoon. Colorado Department of Transportation reports that it had at least 70 people on the scene, with crews working through the night to repair damaged pavement and a median.
Damage to the pavement extended about three inches in depth in some southbound lanes, while it was more significant in northbound lanes.
Hazmat crews also had to clean an estimated 1,000 gallons of fuel and oil. For more images and videos from yesterday’s crash, refer to earlier coverage.
The driver of the crashed truck was injured; their condition wasn’t immediately available Thursday morning.
