One woman is dead and one man is seriously injured after a hit-and-run Friday night in the alley near Broadway and Ellsworth.
Denver police have arrested one person.
Update, 5:30 p.m.: Police have identified the suspect as 41-year-old Jason Brown. He is being held for investigation of felony hit-and-run resulting in death.
The intersection is at the heart of a strip of bars, restaurants and music venues, including the Hi-Dive, Sputnik, Historian's Ale House and Punch Bowl Social.
