I’d say it doesn’t get much hotter than this in Colorado, but I don’t want to tempt fate.

It’s expected to be “mostly sunny and hot” with a high of 97, according to the National Weather Service. The overnight low will be around 65.

By Saturday, it’s expected to cool all the way down to 86 degrees.
