It's still summer for 10 more days, and Denver's not letting us forget that. The high today is 90 degrees, with a slight chance of thunderstorms expected in the late afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. That's about 10 degrees above normal for this time of year.

The same pattern -- high 80s or low 90s with a chance of storms -- will persist until Friday, when temperatures start dropping. The weekend may return to the 70s, with a chance of snow showers in the mountains on Friday night and Saturday, according to NWS.
