Good morning. The high in Denver today is a summer-like 87 degrees, which will combine with breezy conditions to create a fire hazard, according to the National Weather Service. A "red flag" fire warning is in effect for much of the Front Range this afternoon and evening.

The temperatures here will swing between highs in the 80s all week, NWS predicts. A cold front is expected to dramatically drive down temperatures beginning Saturday, and it also might bring precipitation.
