Major League Baseball is trying to determine why Diamondbacks coach Ariel Prieto was wearing an electronic watch during the Wild Card Game on Wednesday between Arizona and Colorado.

Joel Sherman of The New York Post broke the news Thursday. Sherman also got a screen grab of Prieto, who’s served as a coach and interpreter for the last three seasons, wearing the watch.

The Diamondbacks beat the Rockies 11-8. They recorded 17 hits in the win.

In August, the MLB fined the Boston Red Sox, who used an Apple Watch to steal signs against the New York Yankees.
