Denver weather forecast for today, Jan. 3: Chilly, but less so

If 7-day forecasts are to be believed, this is pretty much how we’re living for a week — 50s and 20s.

We’re starting off chilly again in Denver, but we should see highs in the low 50s, according to the National Weather Service.

Tonight we’ll get back down into the 20s, and if 7-day forecasts are to be believed, this is pretty much how we’re living for a week — 50s and 20s.

Of course, interior weather is always different. We’ve learned that our office can be quite warm in the morning, temperate in the afternoon.

And today is the last day at Denverite for our colleague Erica Meltzer, who’s going across town to Chalkbeat. So we’re looking at a higher than usual chance of tears in the early afternoon.

But that shouldn’t have a major impact on your afternoon commute.
