The seasons are changing — as much as they ever do in Denver — so here’s a guide to fall fun

The days are getting shorter, the weather's getting chillier, and we're getting a little cozier, so we all know fall is on the way. And besides my complaining about how cold it is, the season brings an abundance of fall-inspired activities.

While there is plenty to do inside the city limits, if you venture outside of Denver you'll find a world full of charming, scenic and family-friendly activities. If you're more into being scared out of your head, there's plenty of stuff for people like you, too.

13th Floor took the escape room concept so many companies use for team building exercises and made it terrifying. In one scenario, you have to escape a fenced-in area before a zombie gets you. In the other, you're trapped in a cabin by a serial killer. New this year: a solo virtual reality experience in a haunted manor.
