Denverite's Mile High Brewery Battle has reached the Final, Frothy Four -- a hard, and well-earned designation.
As we enter the penultimate round of voting, we want to take a minute to introduce you to the top competitors -- just in case you haven't met yet.
One of two remaining contenders in Five Points: Our Mutual Friend Brewing Co.
Where: 2810 Larimer St.
Who: Owner Brandon Proff, head brewer Jan Chodkowski and manager Michele Garrett
What and why: Opened in 2012 with a 31-gallon brew system and added a seven-barrel system this year. Our Mutual Friend tries to source all its hops and barley from Colorado growers. It also supports local artists. The bright mural splashed across the facade is by Jeremy Burns. If you go on a Tuesday night, for $15 you can walk out with a glass bearing an artist's design -- after filling that glass at least three times with Our Mutual Friend's award-winning brews. This month's Tuesday glass is by Scrappy Cat.
And if you're a kid or Donna, juice boxes are free!
You might find a food truck outside. If you don't, you're welcome to bring in eats from one of the nearby restaurants on a street known as a foodie destination. Garrett recommends the barbecue from Owlbear.
When: Open 4 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, noon to midnight Friday and Saturday, and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday
