Denver is a friendly city full of friendly people.

(Mostly.)

And so when you — you here being us — decide to pit Denver’s breweries against each other in a bracket-style showdown, you’re really putting everyone in a tough spot. All the breweries are good breweries, your readers might say. Can’t we all just support each other?

Nevertheless, we persisted, and the Mile High Brewery Battle is down to the championship round: Cerebral Brewing Co. vs. Ratio Beerworks.

Good pals that they are, the crews at Ratio and Cerebral decided they wanted to settle this amongst themselves. They asked Denverite if they could play a little one-on-one basketball for the title, and we obliged.

Turns out basketball is not really their game. But brewing is, so they’re going to leave it up to Denver to decide after all.

In honor of their sportsmanship, we’re extending the voting through 2 p.m. Friday, July 26.
