I-70 will be closed from Steele/Vasquez to I-270 starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20 through 5 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 23. (CDOT, emphasis added by Denverite)

Interstate 70 will be completely closed for construction from the Steele/Vasquez exists to the Interstate 270 interchange this weekend.

In related news, you might want to try out that new restaurant in your neighborhood this weekend.

The shutdown starts at 10 p.m. Friday and ends 5 a.m. Monday. If you do need to pass through there, CDOT suggests taking Interstate 25 to I-270 (or I-270 to I-25 in the other direction, of course).

The Rockies and Broncos are both out of town, thankfully.

As always, folks, #NeverDrive.
