Roller skating + art + astrology= Oh My Stars!, an immersive pop-up skating event, is coming to The Rollerdome this spring.

Presented by Rainbow Dome, a local group that integrates art and roller skating to create fun community experiences, Oh My Stars! will take over The Rollerdome for four monthly events.  Guests will free-skate through immersive art installations designed by the Rainbow Dome team and themed to a different Zodiac sign each month. There'll also be a photo booth, vendors, merch and sets by local DJs.

Rainbow Dome is the brainchild of Frankie Toan and Therin Zimmerman, an artist duo committed to creating inclusive arts programming in Denver. Their idea was to provide a sober, queer-friendly alternative to local nightlife, and one that would bring communities together around a shared activity: roller skating. The team's goal is to eventually open a permanent Rainbow Dome space. In the meantime, they're building a number of pop-up skating events like Oh My Stars!

Starting in February, Oh My Stars! events will take place on the first Friday of each month from 2-10 p.m. Each event will be themed around the corresponding zodiac at that time:

  • Feb. 18 - Aquarius
  • Mar. 18 - Pisces
  • Apr. 15 - Taurus
  • May 20 - Gemini

All ages and Zodiac signs are welcome!
