A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far away, a fandom was born. Now, every year on May 4, Star Wars fans don lightsabers and stormtrooper costumes to attend Star Wars movie marathons, themed parties and trivia nights, and utter to one another this message of well wishes: May the 4th be with you.
This is the way.
Star Wars Day is May 4, and Denver is celebrating with a host of activities, from the annual ART WARS celebration to a Mandalorian-themed paint and sip night. Check out our list of ways to celebrate below, and may the force be with you all!

May The Fourth Be With You Han Solo celebration
Where: Fiction Beer Company, 7101 E. Colfax Ave.
When: May 4, 2-8 p.m.
What: A Star Wars party celebrating the galaxy's favorite scruffy-looking nerf herder. Fiction Beer Co.'s book-themed taproom is made by geeks, for geeks. This Star Wars Day, they'll be serving up the Never Tell Me the Hops New England Style IPA. Guests can also play Sabacc, and enjoy food from White Wolf Catering food truck.
May The 4th Be With You

When: May 3- May 8, 3-9 p.m.
What: All week, guests can order from a menu of themed cocktails at this Star Wars celebration.
FamBAM Silent Sessions: May the 4th Be With You
Where: Marijuana Mansion Denver, 1244 Grant St.
When: May 4, 7 p.m. to midnight.
What: This Star Wars-themed silent disco dance party invites guests to dance to a playlist of their choice (top 40's, electronic or hip-hop) on their own set of headphones, so each person can enjoy their preferred genre of music while dancing through the mansion's ten themed rooms. Guests are invited to come in costume, and to compete in a Star Wars Cosplay Costume Contest. The winner gets two tickets to Comic Con! Admission is $25 per person.

What: This trivia night will quiz competitors about Star Wars Episodes 1-7 and Rogue One. Players must register online in advance.
Geeks Who Drink
Where: Multiple locations in Metro Denver. Look for Star Wars Quiz Vol. 1 .
When: 7 p.m. on May 4.
What: Bar trivia group Geeks Who Drink regularly organizes themed trivia event in Denver and nationwide. On May 4, they're hosting several Star Wars themed games across the metro area. Teams can compete to win pints and other prizes. Look online for the Geeks Who Drink location closest to you!

Star Wars™ X-Wing Starfighter
Where: Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum, 7711 East Academy Blvd.
When: 10 a.m.- 5 p.m.
What: Did you know that Denver is home to a replica model of Luke's X-Wing Starfighter? The replica at Wings Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum is signed by Star Wars cast and crew members like Harrison Ford, George Lucas, and David Prowse. Admission to the exhibit is included in general admission tickets to the museum, which are $11.95 for Youth (4 - 16), $18.95 for Adults 17 - 64, $14.95 for Seniors and Military and free for kids 3 and under.
ART WAR Denver 2022
Where: Modis in the City, 1553 Platte St. #100
When: Gallery open April 30 - May 7. Party takes place May 4
What: ART WAR is an annual art show and party that kicked off in Denver and has since spread to other cities. Throughout the week, you can check out Star Wars-inspired art by more than 25 local artists. And on May 4, celebrate Star Wars Day at the annual ART WAR party featuring with themed cocktails, an art raffle, DJs, food and drink specials and a costume contest.
Star Wars Day - Stormtrooper Sugar Skull
